Program Language Requirements Python R Power BI Excel SQL Primary Duties and Responsibilities Advanced understanding of Hy-Vee's business and opportunities our industry is facing Works closely with the business and management to gather requirements, identify critical metrics and KPIs Advanced ability to transform data into readable, goal-driven insights for continued innovation and growth Understands, anticipates and influences how our work integrates with other teams Collects, cleans, and transforms data for analyses Identifies trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets oCreate and maintain best-practice reports and rich interactive visualizations based on data mining, interpretation, analysis, and the integrating of various components from multiple data sources.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics Advanced data visualization skills Advanced analytics skills including data mining, evaluation, and analysis through the use of statistical packages Technical writing experience in presentations, queries, and reports Experience with database and model design Experience using various data structures and common methods in data transformation Experience using GCP, Azure or other cloud tools and environments Ability to propose solutions before actively developing a feature or request Understanding of data warehousing concepts Understanding of tabular models and multidimensional cubes.

Formulates options including assessing their relative merits and risks, and works to determine the best solution.
Demonstrates an advanced understanding of the relevant data management and analytics tools and technologies for the area supported.
Demonstrates an advanced understanding of data life cycle Management (DLCM) Acts as a resource to others on the existing data supporting a business area.
Serves as a key resource to ensure the data is fit for purpose.
Works independently and provides guidance within technical area, applying in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies and business processes, as appropriate.
Understands architectural issues, and factors them into decisions and recommendations.
Provides leadership in their area(s) of technical specialization.
Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field is preferred.
